Prophetic Focus For July 2018: Dear beloved,   Kingdom   influence   greetings   in   the   Name   of   our   Lord Jesus   as   I welcome you   to   the   second   half   of   the year   2018. Throughout   the month   of   June,   we   explore   the   Word   of   God   on   who   the   Holy   Spirit   is,   what   is   His   role   in   our   life   and   in   the   world,   and   by   the special   grace   of   God,   most   of   us   are   now   flowing   in   the   power   of   the   Holy   Spirit   as   a   result   of   His   visitation   in   our   midst.   By   the special   grace   of   God,   we   have   now   entered   into   the   seventh   month   of   the   year, the   month   of   completeness   and   perfection   (both physical   and   spiritual). The   beginning   of   the   second   half   of   the year   and I   believe   God   is   calling   each   of   to   pursue   and   perfect   our walk   of   holiness   with   Him   (II   Corinthians   7:1;   Hebrews   12:14-15). So,   throughout   the   month   of   July   by   God’s   grace   on   Sundays   and in   our   mid-week   services,   we   shall   be   looking   at   the   Word   of   God   and   study   what   the   Word   says   on   the   subject   of   holiness   in other   for   each   of   us   to   learn   how   to   pursue   and   perfect   our   walk   of   holiness   in   the   fear   of   God.   It   is   obviously   God’s   plan   and desire   is   for   each   of   us,   the   redeemed   of   the   Lord   to   live   with   Him   forever   in   eternity.   However,   we   are   told   that   one   of   the conditions for this is to pursue and perfect our walk of holiness in the fear of God.   We   live   in   the   days   and   age   when   it   is   becoming   very   unpopular   to   follow   Jesus,   it   is   unpopular   to   stand   by   our   beliefs   without compromising.  Christians   can   no   longer   hold   on   to   the   Word   of   God   as   the   final   authority   in   their   life   and   refuses   to   bow   in   the midst   of   pressure.   It   is   becoming   increasingly   difficult   to   differentiate   between   a   Christian   and   a   non-Christian.   The   Church   of Jesus   Christ   has   easily   blended   to   the   society   we   are   called   to   affect.   Many   Christian   are   freely   living   an   immoral,   sinful   and deceptive   lifestyle,   fighting,   cursing   and   swearing.   Christians   are   the   one   stealing   at   work   and   breaking   the   laws   of   the   land. Christian   are   the   ones who   instigate   or   lead   the   uprising   at work,   contribute   to   gossips   about   our   colleagues,   bosses,   neighbours, fellow   believers   and   our   Pastor.   We   are   afraid   to   call   sin   what   it   is,   because   we   are   part   of   it   ourselves.   This   is   why   the   Lord   is calling us at such a time to a life of holiness, to pursue and perfect it because “…without holiness no man will see the Lord…”   In   Roman   12:1-2   we   are   admonished   by   Paul   to   live   a   life   of   non-conformity,   he   challenged   us   to   stand   out   in   the   world   by deliberately   and   consciously   presenting   our   bodies   a   “living   sacrifice,   holy   and   acceptable   to   God”   and   stressed   further   that   is   our “reasonable   service”   (KJV),   another version   says   it   is   “your   true   and   proper worship”.   He went   further   in verse   2   to   say, we   must   not “conform   or   adjust   our   life   to   the   world”,   the   system   of   the   world   but   to   be   transformed   by   “renewing   our   minds   so   as   to   (1)   prove what   is   good,   (2)   prove   what   is   acceptable   and   (3)   prove   what   is   the   perfect   will   of   God   for   your   life. Therefore,   the   prophetic theme   for   the   month   of   July   2018   in   the   Overcomers’   family   (DICA   Malta)   is: “ Pursuing   and   Perfecting   Holiness:   PPH-07 ”. (II Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14-15).   Remain blessed, Jide I.
